Ike's Revenge
by: Stephanie Jentzsch
One fine morning, I think around 10,
Zac was playing on Ike's guitar again.
Ike searched the house in such a mad state,
but when Isaac found Zac, he was a little too late.
A couple of strings were tied in a knot,
Ike told him not to. but I guess he forgot.
Zac ran out of the house to hide right away,
but all of a sudden he ran into Tay!
Tay looked at Zac and got dirt in his eyes,
but when Zac came running, Tay was sure surprised.
As Tay went walking, he walked into a tree,
and stumbled backwards and fell on his knee.
He got up off the ground and cleaned himself off,
and right behind him he heard a small cough.
Tay turned around and noticed his bros,
were standing there dirty from their heads to their toes.
He asked what was wrong, but Zac just ran to the house,
because when he got to the door he called his brother a louse.
Ike just ignored him, told Tay what happen'
about what Zac was doing, while he was nappin'.
Then Taylor asked, "What did u do in revenge to Zac, Ike?"
Ike just snickered and said, "I took a tire of Zac's motorbike!"

Never
by: Karina
Never will I cry,
never will a tear shed from my eye,
never will I let you know,
how much it hurts when you show,
the true side to your words,
never will you hear me say,
life will always be this way,
cause’ someday it will change
you will never see the tears that flow from my eyes,
and you will never here my lonely cries,
you will never see the pain you put my heart through,
when you do the things you do,
you will never be able to say things will be okay,
cause’ everything you say is a lie,
sometimes I ask myself why,
you would want to do this to me,
can’t you see I’m dying inside,
from all the tears I’ve cried,
all because of you

An Ocean of Music
by: Irene Velentzas
Music is like a calm sea,
Deep and unpredictable.
Don't fight it,
But lose yourself in it.
Let the liquid fill your soul, mind, heart, and lungs.
Either in its placidness or storming rage,
It weill drown, compress, and fill you with itself.
As just before you slip away,
You will unknowingly break the surface,
And just breathe.

A Moment In Time With The Camera Shy Six
by: Joan
I never knew before,
That I should have wanted more.
When I saw the younger four, I knew.
Yet, those that actually have it are few.
They stood together.
If only forever.
Though it was fast,
I saw them at last.
It was but a moment in time.
And it was all mine.
Of course, they have parents too.
For all children do.
I saw him walking alone.
He’s the only dark one, you know.
Like his two oldest girls, he need not say a word.
Yet, you could not help but see the smile, O Lord.
They’re all more fair-haired, like their mother.
Whom talked to the crowd without a bother.
Inside, the oldest three, all boys, were waiting for dinner.
All nine of them sat at the table, not one a sinner.
Though they are from the Middle Of Nowhere,
They are in the Middle Of Everywhere.

I Know
by: Megan
You run your fingers through my hair
A tear rolls down my cheek
To lose you, I couldn't bare
I'm afraid to speak
Afraid to have this moment fade
And afraid that we'll forget
All these memories and dreams we've made
And the magic when we met
You pull away and say you're very
Sorry and that you know
Our time apart will make us weary
But in the end will only show
That we truly love each other
And were never meant to be apart
And there will never be another
Who could steal away your heart
Before you walk away
You hand me something to keep
I beg for you to stay
And uncontrollably weep
You handed me a necklace
With a cage shaped like a heart
In a moment I was breathless
And then I heard you start
To explain what it it stood for
That your heart was caged in mine
And that you'll love me forever more
Until the sun won't shine
We stood silent with nothing more to say
When you turned and started to go
I yelled after, "I love you, Tay"
And you smiled and said, "I know"

Someone Like You
by: Anonymous
Every night in my bed, I cry myself to sleep.
I always wonder, wonder why...I continue to weep.
My heart pounds everytime I see a memory of you, I can't believe that
I am falling for you.
You've turned my life around, with your powerful angelic sound.
You've taught me the happiness of love, life and hope.
and my love for you...I will have to learn to cope.
Why am I falling for someone like you, I can't do this because
everyone else is in love with you too.
I am no different, I don't deserve you, I must stop now, but I dont
know how.
I am sorry for being in love with you, your someone I know I could
never have, but these feelings are too strong to hold back, what's the
matter with me? what do I lack?
I know its gonna have to fade away, and for that day I must pray.
I have to find a way to get over you, because my love for you can't
possibly be true.
For I could never have some one like you...

We Were Meant To Be
by: Tayna Bass
We Were Meant To be
I thought you loved me,
I thought you cared
Whenever I needed you,
you were always there
Somehow I was blinded,
I just couldn't see
Now when I need you,
your back's turned on me
What happened to that someone
who said we would be
Together forever,
just you and me
Somehow we split up,
leaving our love behind
Now at night I cry
when you come to mind
If only you knew
the way I feel
Maybe you'd understand
our love was real
We were meant to be,
that I know is true
If only somehow
I could get that to you

The Blessing
by: Patricia Hill
Those eyes from Heaven above
Cure my insecurities
With those lips you hold
You speak the words from the angels
That walk among the clouds
Your soul I see like no one else
Your tender kiss I taste is as sweet
As the sound that unfolds from
Your lips
Love isn't what I feel but something
Stronger that no one can ever
Feel but
You and I

Gazing Eyes
by: Stacey
Staring at the picture of you
Hanging on my wall
Having this feeling that you
are watching over me
It gives me chills
Right down my spine
To see your gaze follow me
around the room
The crystal orbs watching
Almost waiting for the moment
To come alive at last to
seize the moment
Those eyes haunting me
staring mesmerized, never blinking
Alert and fearful like
a deer caught in headlights
I lie awake at night thinking
of your eyes
those fearful eyes
wanting to shred the pieces of the paper
The strips float to the ground
and still the eyes stare up
at me. Never blinking
Never changing, continously gazing

Open up your heart to me
And in it you can help me see
The truth behind your eyes of pain
That never seem to glow the same
You want more of everything
Things that don't help you bring
Your love to those who need it most
You treat us like a bunch of ghosts
You weep by yourself when we're not there
You even stopped doing anything with your hair
Your appearance has changed in many ways
You wear the same clothes for many days
Please, open up your heart to me
And in it you can help me see
The truth behind your eyes of pain
That never seem to glow the same
