Fear
by: Betsy

1.
Liquid, acidic sunrise
bathes and drowns the sponge
that hides inside your spine
Cloying fingernails painted
lipstick red
squeeze your bones as
lies of loyalty snake between
your toes- you fall,
you stumble
to the tomb of roses
laid out for fair hearts.
Bitter petals
gash your cheeks, drawing the pain
that hones the thorns-
you bleed, you ache-
you lie still.

II.
Snap, snap, snap
one by one your virtues break
become so stiff with defiance
shattered to a sickly green dust
that clings to the walls,
dark and musty in your grave.
How many have fallen
to this murderous trap before you,
pulled
dragged and
lured
by tendrils of soft pink smoke
scented with the breath of
luckless eyes,
their cold, frosted stares
shivering their way into
your own-
you look, you weep-
you lie still.

III.
Insecurity's venom
drips deeper
from your plucked, stung lips
to your tangled toes
bubbling, fermenting, eating away at
your eyes as
your own fingers claw the brows
that watch your trnsformation
reaching, pushing into your skull
to bring out the smoke.
The blood runs,
your nails are red,
grabbing fiery emeralds of jealousy,
the skulking chains of deciet, of
Fear, until
sunlight puddles away, dried by
stars of frozen hope-
You cry, you breathe-
you begin to climb again.

Drummer's Passion
by: Kara

My hands are sweaty
The sticks slip when I crash the symbol.
And for once I'm nervous
Because this crowd was huge
Bigger than i had ever seen
And louder than normal
I look over at the keyboardest with pleading eyes
'Please! Don't make me play'
But she turns away and plays the first note
On the forth beat I would come in playing
And on the four, I crashed a symbol
The sticks were still in place!
I began to cool down a bit
But I loved the way the crowd screamed my name
And the way my heart was beating so hard and strong
And the thrill of having the guts
To go out in front of people you don't know
And make them so happy and joyous
Just by showing your talent~

Circus Happy
by: Anonymous

I think about the good times that we've had and i know i see the smile somewhere

Circus Happy
( hiding in glory )
behind the mask of tears
( the clown that i am )
with the red nose and rosey cheeks
dance about the purple glitter
smile at me and laugh
giggles come from this place
( and they wonder where we are )
and they wonder whats going on
its the circus i say
( smiling, we know the secret)
yeah... its the circus

At The Ending
by: Just Me

tearing lives apart
staying hidden
in the minds of the weary
and living time among the dreary
keeping hidden among the fearing
and living
all that is living
in the giving
and all that is giving
behind the begining
and at the ending

All's Well That Ends Well
by: R*o*b*y*n

You how annoying little sisters can be?
She proved it again, at just past three.
My sibling, she stole my Hanson CD.
She threatened to throw it away, you see.
I looked her in the eye, and said grimly:
"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" "Too bad" said she.
"I've already thought, oh, whoopsie!
There goes your stupid CD."
FLUUUUUSH went the toilet, "NOOO!" I screamed.
Then I was lost, without my CD.
I don't know if I could continue to be.
What happened to my sister? Well, you see
We got on Jerry Springer, on TV.
Then when my parents didn't listen to me,
I shipped her, myself, off to Turkey.
Of course, I had to buy a new CD.
But all's well that ends well; I'm happy.

I'm Just A Girl
by: Starr

i love flowery skirts
and festive socks
i love irises
i love snow
i'd perish without it
i love October
i love Jakob Dylan
i love poetry
but you already knew that
i love Stephen King
i love the ocean
i love to smile
i love having long hair
i love my freckles
i love to sing
i love to wish on stars
i love Lance
i love to dance
when i'm alone
i love to laugh
i love to live
i'm just a girl

Heartbreak
by: Starr

At first you were just a voice
sort of like a journal
I found myself sharing things i'd never share with anyone
and yet as if by some strange power
My fingers typed out these things that had previously lived soley in my mind
and now i realize
that even though it felt so right
I should have asked who was there before opening the door
because now you're hiding
and like a deer caught in headlights
I feel so vulnerable
I'm addicted to you like you're a drug
and I can't get my fix
So i'm hidden in my subconscious state
and you're hidden in yourself
You've taught me a lesson
it was a bitch to learn and yet i am thankful for it
because now i know
to be quiet and keep my thoughts safe
and protect myself
from my heart

Broken Through
by: Kelly M. C.

Death claims my mortal skin
As I turn and reach and spit from within
The only breath I have is gone
Realizing this, I know I was wrong

Coming back to see his face
Reaching from this horrid place
I choke, I turn, I laugh, I cry
But simply and painfully I must die

So here I am back from once dead
To watch and listen from my death bed
To see his face just one last time
And claim to the world what's rightfully mine

His eyes of blue
His hair of gold
At this thought I keep going
No matter what I'm told

I have to tell him my feelings so true
Before my world turns black and blue
I cannot die until he's found
I must arise from the hell-bound ground

So I reach and roll and again I rise
Up to the stage to claim my prize
And I stare into his soft blue eyes
And at this moment I realize

A dream perhaps from which I wake
Or did I loose my mortal soul by mistake?
But now I have my love so true
And my world is not of black and blue

Except for his eyes that are blue and deep
And in his arms it's me he'll keep
Until the day I really am dead
So listen and learn from these words I've said

No matter what they might say or think or do
If your love is truely true
There's nothing anyone can do
Because if you love them and they love you
The mortal world can be broken through
So as I stare into his eyes of blue

I die in more ways than one
But in a sense my life has just begun
Because now we're together and that cannot be changed
The order of life can't be rearranged

So remember this, dear friends of mine
No matter the span or length of time
If your love is truely true
So true, so pure, and they really LOVE you
The mortal world can be broken through

My Love is True
by: Aja

I can guarantee that.
Your always first,
Wherever I'm at.
You wouldn't believe,
I miss you so much.
Whenever your gone,
I never give up.
If you said goodbye,
I couldn't help but cry.
When I'm in your arms,
I feel I could fly.
So if you'll always love me,
I will be true to you,
And you'll never forget,
That I'll always love you

Angel
by: Cheryl

I take a trip where no one can see
the place i'm supposed to be
I hide from you, we're not the same
I stay awake , but hide in shame
through the shadows in the dark
I hear you laughing at my broken heart
and through my pain I rise again
I see a rainbow in the rain
a spark of hope we can still be friends
and try to start all over again
but in the distance I call out your name
a cry of help, a distant prayer
I need a sign you`ll soon be there
I see your hand reach out to me
I feel a sigh come over me
I'm saved rescued from the storm
a welcoming hand to keep me warm
I see my prayers have been answered
and wonder what came over you
I realize my enemy was an angel sent from god above
I should have looked closer
and I would have saw love.
