Allie's 92 Pro FM Birthday Bash Review

Okay, let me just say that I have only seen Hanson perform live one other time before this. That was at Great Woods(Mass.) during the Albertane Tour. I was so happy when I found out that they were coming to Providence so I got tickets as soon as they went on sale. I had really good seats(a few sections over from the stage, second section back, second row, Tay's side. :) I'll tell you about the concert in a minute but first I want to mention what happened before the show.

My friends and I thought that it would be cool if we could get to the Civic Center early and maybe see Hanson go in for their sound check. We got there at around 2 o'clock and walked into the back parking lot. There were a bunch of girls standing up on a landing overlooking the parking lot. Before going up there we walked around the side to where a bus was. We stood down there near the back door and waited. A few minutes later a lady came out and told us that none of the groups were doing sound checks because there were so many bands performing. She said that Hanson was doing a concert in Conn. that afternoon so they wouldn't get there until right before the show. We were kind of disappointed but we decided to stick around for awhile. Less than two minutes later another bus pulls into the parking lot. It starts to head over to where we were standing but then it stopped. At first I couldn't make out who was in the bus but then I saw Zac standing in the front! We were so excited! Unfortunately, the bus started to back up and it pulled out of the parking lot again. I'm not sure why they stopped by but I think they just wanted to check on their equipment(which was already in the parking lot on another bus) before they left for the other show.

After that my friends and I went to the mall for awhile before heading back to the Civic Center about an hour before the show. I had wanted to go back sooner but my friends wanted to shop some more. When we got back we saw that Hanson's bus was already in the parking lot. We went up to the landing and started talking to a few girls that we had met earlier. They told us that Hanson had just arrived and walked through the parking lot and directly under the landing. We had missed them! :( Someone asked a police officer if Hanson was coming back out before the show and he said no. But we still stayed out there and ten minutes later Hanson came out again! They walked right out from under where we were standing. Taylor walked over and shook hands with some fans and then he waved at us before getting on the bus. He looked very cute! Zac and Ike walked out and got on the crew bus that was directly below us. Then a few minutes later Zac and Ike got off the bus again and they were just standing near the front of the bus talking with these guys for awhile. If I wanted to I could have jumped off the landing and tackled Zac but of course I would never do something like that! It was so amazing to be that close to them. They all looked so hot, especially Zac. :) He kept playing with his hair, taking it in and out of a ponytail. I took so many pictures but unfortunately I don't have a scanner. My friend might scan them for me so I'll try to post them later. My friend and I yelled out Zac's name and I know he heard us but he was talking to this guy from the radio station so he didn't look up. Then Ike and Zac crossed over to the other bus where Tay was and they got on. I wanted to stay and watch them go inside but the concert had already started and we needed to find our seats so we left.

The concert was awesome. When Hanson performed everyone was jumping around and singing along. Taylor kept bouncing around the stage it was so funny! They were so energetic and they looked so adorable! I really hope they go on tour because I can't wait to see them perform live again. They did six songs(You Never Know, Where's The Love, If Only, This Time Around, Mmmbop, and In the City). It was so great! If Hanson ever comes to your town make sure you go see them because it is so incredible!
